Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Klosters on a budget

The timing could not have been worse as the Swiss Franc soared having been set free of the Euro the day before we set for a long weekend last week.
The good news was our arrival was the same time as the well forecasted dump and our choice of hotel the Adventure Hostel. http://www.adventurehostel.ch
This as cheap as it gets in Klosters and is in a fantastic location with views of the Gochnergrat and a few minutes walk from the cable car and station. It is run by Wim and his wife who does the cooking. The food is good hearty home cooking, perfect after a hard day off piste with a picnic for lunch. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the shared shower.Wim is very helpful giving advice on where to ski and will get ski passes for you as part of a package. With four days of skiing untracked snow there was no need to spend any money on lunches so whilst it is never going to be cheap the keen off piste skier will get a lot of fresh snow for their dosh.
