Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

portes du soleil area lift pass question

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
We just re-charged our area passes online prior to heading off to Morzine next weekend - does anyone know what the procedure is when we arrive at the lift , i.e. will the passes just work or will we need to go to a kiosk with receipt in hand to get them validated etc.?
Thanks

If it's the same as the 3vs you should be good to go, but the general advise is to keep a receipt with you just in case of any problems.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I've done the same thing on my PdS pass for the last 2 years (back before the turn of year when they do a discount for early-birds) and it's just worked both times.

As long as you don't do what my mate did and booked the pass to start on the day of arrival (Landing GVA @ 18:00 is not entirely conducive to a few turns that day) hence on the last day it didn't work...

It worked for us last year on three of our passes. For some strange gremlinny reason, the Pleney website wouldn't recharge one, so we had to go into the office to pick up that one replacement. We've just recharged for this year's trip and no problems. Very clever.
