Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Resturant in Paris Recomendations

Myself and the other half are getting the couchette to Bourg SM tomorrow night from Paris Austilitz after coming in on the Eurostar to Paris Nord. Obviously we need to get across Paris probably by RER however we have about 3 hours to kill so fancy a nice ish meal somewhere semi convenient. Does anybody have any recommendations?

Opposite Gare d'Austerlitz, across the road, there are a selection of restaurants who have all been happy to put up with me and my luggage for a few hours while I eat dinner. I'd just head to Austerlitz and then take your pick.

Make sure you leave planty of time to get to Austerlitz- we once had an hour to do the 2/3? RER stop transfer and the RER didnt come for 40 mins. Nearly missed the night train!

The ones opposite Austerlitz are OK but not very special. If you don't have lots of luggage and do have enough time I rather like the look of http://m.cafedelindustrieparis.fr it is on the list for my next trip.
