Hi, any recommendations please?
I've seen an old thread back from early 2010 but things can change a lot in 5yrs.
Looking for either nice view or reasonable prices (preferably both, but I realise that's highly unlikely!)

Couple of our favourites in Les Menuires are, La Ferme de Reberty, beside the Boyes slope in Reberty 2000 (Great food, nice atmosphere) and Alpage which is between Mont de la Chambre and Alpage (good food and views (well I think so  ). Mention too for Skilt in Les Menuires itself, great burgers and pints of Hoeggaarden more than make up for the concrete surroundings of la Croisette.

There's a nice place above Val T called Chalet de Morraine or somut like that - good food and good views (inside and out)
get the chair that goes from the same place as the peclet Funitel and then hang a right at the top.

Chez Pepe Nicolas which is a walk up from the Bvd Cumin out of VT towards Les Menuires. It's well signposted from the piste. A bit of a hike up-about 10 mins (or an off piste ski down from Les Menuires- check the website of the restaurant for details). The family who own it also own Le Montagnard in St Martin. It's their summer farm for their goats-they make their own cheese. Views are fab. Delightful owner Eric always seems to be there welcoming visitors. You really have a sense that you are somewhere a bit special as you have to make an effort to get there. Food is simple and tasty.
Lodge du Village in Meribel Village, nice grub, good value and a good lunch destination low down on a snowy day, even though it's not on the piste.
My own personal fave in the 3v is L'Arc en Ciel in Courchevel 1650. Again, not on the slopes, but a 2 min walk down in the Village. Cosy, lovely grub, great pizzas, huge salads and friendly service. It's a great lunch destination if you are staying in the Belleville valley and want to head right over the far side.
I second the vote for the Bouc Blanc. Their Beaufort cheese tart and salad...mmmmmmmm

The one half way down la Masse looking over towards les Menuires. Good sunny terrace. We call it the French onion soup place for obvious reasons. Sitelle (chippy stairs see embarrassing moment thread) above mottaret has a lovely sunny terrace and lovely views over towards mont Vallon. The one on the way down to St Martin, past the lift station, you have to turn off to the left to reach it. Avoid courchevel valley unless you are rich. The only place we can afford is the snack bar under Bel Air above 1650, which does good sarnies. And a nice little place in La Tania, just for snacks, on the corner as you enter La Tania on the left just before you get to restaurants. Lots really you just have to try them.

Courcheneige is one of the best value in 1850, worth booking if it's a busy week or time. Skiers lunch about 27€, small beer 2.5€
Avoid tremplin (under croisette) unless you want to show off your 12€ coffee receipt.

We stopped for a drink at Le Pilatus above Courchevel Altiport over Christmas. The Gents Loos look out over the runway and helipad - You can watch the planes and helicopters coming in as you have a pee

We usually have a drink break in pilatus (or altibar as we call it) nice for a drink break, but certainly not the cheapest. Though always good watching the good, bad or just plain rich landing whilst you take a break.

All the way over to the Orelle valley and the restaurant there does a couple of freshly grilled options outdoors, usually with one being a nice bit of fish. Sit too close and you'll know all about it! We've found it well priced as it's definitely off the beaten track and it's a great spot to sit if the sun's out.

+1 Courcheneige, definitely have a burger they are very filling, get the salad buffet on a warm day, the prawns are really nice, but on a cold day you'll freeze your hands off peeling them, tartiflette is good for a cold day if eating outside, warm your hands up on the dish when you've finished.
It's our usual stop off for a drink in the morning and usually lunch, if not we usually go to one of the places in la tania

Couple more to add with good views and reasonably priced decent food...Chalets des 2 Ours in Val T off the Boismint chair and La Loy on run down to Saint Martin. Bel Air in 1650 and Cave des Creux in 1850 have fab views but it comes at a price

Rond point in Meribel (just below the top of Rhodos 1) does nice burgers (14 euros incl chips and a beer).
Skilt or the tex-mex place in Les Menuires
Wok ski at the "kinfe and fork" aka Chalet de Thorens up in VT
We had cold pasta (indoors) at the place in Orelle, tasty but cold. WOuld be wary of going back.
Good lasagne and very quick service at La Moutiere, just below the Plateau twin drags above VT
Again good lasagne at the place (can't remember the name) just at the foot of the La Masse drag lift in La Masse - there's a snack bar opposite the top of the Masse 1 gondola, with steps down to a full size restaurant. They forgot one girl's pizza but apologised, brought it out a little late and gave it us for free

Another vote for the Bouc Blanc above La Tania. Beautiful views and very good food at reasonable prices.

Ate at Courcheneige today, great place and amazing value so thank for that recommendation! 2.5euros for a small beer is a bargain, and the burger was v tasty!
Will give the others a try later this week!

+1 fantastic place - always a must do lunch stop whenever we are in the 3V. The owner (Margaret) is British and lovely

La Soucoupe is a cracking spot. Courchevel prices, but definitely worth it for a blow out, flame grilled happiness. Le Bouc Blanc is the best quality/value/setting restaurant all rounder in the 3V, and Coeur de Cristal above Meribel my favorite mid-priced joint, fabulous late lunch terrace for sunny afternoons.
