Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi All,
Anyone recommend a courier to move skis within the UK? Reason I ask is I spotted a bargain on Ebay but it was Darn Sarf when I'm Oop Norf, Hermes - my otherwise-favourite courier - won't take anything over 1.2m, even Parcelfarce won't carry anything over 1.5m (wrapped/bagged skis for me are likely to be around 1.7m/1.8m).
Regards,

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Have a look at Parcel Monkey. Its a comparison website for different couriers just stick in the size and weight of the parcel. I have used them in the past to ship skis but I think it was
Citylink they recommended which are no more.

That Paisley Freight website looks handy - I'm just about to stick a pair of skis on eBay so will be using them. What do folk recommend for wrapping the skis in for shipping?
