Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Les Deux Alpes Feb half term - skipass in-resort or in advance ?

Hi - first time to LDA...accomodation & hire are booked, just the lift pass to get.
We arrive in resort start of half-term week Saturday 14 Feb 2015 (midday) - are 6-day lift passes available to buy over the counter or should we buy in advance online ?
Would they ever sell-out of 6-day passes ?

Thanks

Hi Pete

We're there half term too. We've already bought ours online but that's because
i) we're turning up quite late Saturday night (so it's one less thing to do on Sunday morning)
ii) our accommodation gave us a discount code

I guess you're either sorted now or decided to buy it there.

I suppose ski resorts must have a maximum (safety) number of passes that they'd issue but I've never heard of anywhere running out.

See you on the slopes (or in the bars),

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

If it's not too late buy in advance and avoid the queues.

Laughing Laughing Laughing No.

But there will be monster queues at the ticket windows from about 16:00 onwards and likewise on Sunday morning.
