Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Residence Le Chalet De Montchavin

Hi,

Does anyone know where this is situated in Montchavin? Been to Montchavin before and stayed at Trois Glaciers, but would prefer to be nearer centre and also near the bubble at the Evolution ski school as going 4th April for 2 weeks so if snow if thin in Montchavin we can download on the bubble.

@Gilly28, google search "Le Chalet De Montchavin" gets you a number of hits, including Trip Advisor which gets you the address: 17, rue du Plan, 73210 Montchavin. Plug this into Google Maps and voila! a short walk from the Coches lift. Excellent position. And fine for downloading on the bubble.

Thank you! I did google (always google the life out of accomodation I'm interested in to get different pics reviews etc) and tried to find a site that gave me a better map, but never done the address in google maps things. I'm going to go try than now!

Ok I've tried The Google Maps and I'm not getting anywhere much. I get the map up but when I try to zoom in further to get more detailed view lots of the places names disappear and I just get bigger white lines. Probably the reason I've never used it much, obviously doing something wrong. :Oops: I'm using my IPad, should I be downloading the app? I'll try that now.
