Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

URGENT queostion - Orelle/Val Thorens

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I have an urgent queostion and it would be of much help if someone could answer me...

Going to Orelle tomorrow but I have yet to hire skiis for one week. I cannot find at all the prices for the Orelle Sport 3000 Shop

So my queostion is: Does anyone know how much are the prices? Im looking for an advanced ski model together with boots and helmet
My other queostion is: Does anyone know if I can access the Val Thorens village by foot(going into gondola and stuff with my ski pass) cuz I can book skiis for cheaper in the village online

@skiing5, no access to VT on foot.

you'll pay about €100 for the package you mention. Go to the shops with cash and be prepared to haggle

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@skiing5, You'll always get a better price in the shop for cash than you will online. Online the shop just has to pay Sport 2000 or Twinner or whoever their 15% cut

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@red 27 Once again, tnx again! I never went directly with cash to a shop and knowing I could get for that money is such a relief

The shop by the lift in Orelle is really good and not expensive. Friendly family run business. Seem to have a pretty good selection of skis.
