Following recent storms can it now be said that we have nothing to worry about snow wise from now until mid April or are a couple of more big dumps required....discuss?

Yes it's official the season is saved. Even if another flake were not to fall, and the temps were to rise to 70 degree's. There has been so much snow it will last until June.

I suppose it varies from place to place - don't forget in some resorts there was literally nothing until the weekend. I'd say that another storm or two are needed to be safe.

Yes, indeed. There were good grounds a week ago to fear that the season was doomed but every reason now to conclude that it is saved. Phew.....

Even though here in Serre Che we had very good snow cover compared to the likes of Morzine / Les Gets and other lower resorts. The snow fall of 40-50 at the weekend whist obviously desperately needed is no where near enough for the lower slopes / runs to resort if you value your skis as there was no real cover though snow canon have been working with the uber low temps and best to take the chemins all the way down.
We need at least another 50cm for conditions to be good.
And out of resort off piste is well trashed by the high winds of a couple of days ago 
Though will go and explore elsewhere today if only to get away from the hordes.
