Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Gear in Sainsburys

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Has anyone else noticed the new Ski range in Sainsburys.

I was in there today and it was just being put out, There was Adults and Kids jackets and trousers, and Thermals and Gloves and Hats.

Jackets were all £45, Trousers £30 for Adults, Didnt notice kids prices
Thermals were £6 i think.

They were all the same brand but can not remember what it was, i had never heard of it before, something like Cold Dog or something like that. But the quality for the price actually felt OK.
Now its not going to compare to your top end stuff i know, but when you compare it to the other low end products on the market like Dare 2 be, and Aldi and such it felt on par.

there was like 3 Jack designs for both men and women and for budget range they looked pretty smart.

WOW - that's amazing. Thank you!
I have just been to Sports Direct Website, and am filled with a warm sanse of contentment having seen those lovely Nevica products. Last night Back to the Future was on TV, and today I'm ordering Nevica. I will listen to my Duran Duran tape in my car on the way home tonight and the world will be a happy place again. Very Happy

Bought my daughter some of the 'Black Run' ski pants - £22 for what seems good quality kit. Also have nice ski bobble hats in the sale, with a ski lift/skier scene on, for £2.75.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

No, I don't; horrid memories of the 1970s and the 'hot dog' scene! My trousers of choice back in those days were racing pants!

Back on topic, had a look in J. Sainsbury earlier today. The men's and kids' jackets and trousers (not salopettes!) looked decent quality for the price; the women's jacket looked really cheap and had a poor quality finish to it.
