Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Any advice we went there feb 2014. Quite new to boarding so dont know a great deal! We stuck to the standard blues like prolays short and ardent. Want to venture out further this time but don't know which runs are good and bad? Or should we just go for it?

There's tons of pow at the moment, but stick to safe-ish stuff near pistes .
Some easy to get to spots are : Under the rochassons cahir, under the chaux de roses chair, under the cornebois chair and between the cornebois and combe chairs, the rhodedendrons, the powder fields on either side of chaux fleurie, all of the snowcross ( mosettes, canyon pschott, crozats, marmotte, brochaux).
The stash is now ok, the happy park in les crossets is normally sun-kissed, and the natural 2 natural gulleys in les crosets are fun too.
Avoid the Defago in Morgins ( the run is nice, but it leads to a long flat road), the same is true for the Gd Paradis. Crocus between Plenety and les Gets is also pretty flat.
If theres a bunch of you, try racing down the boarder cross in Super Chatel or La Chapelle, as they are easier and more forgiving than the one on Arare. (go down that one in single file). The bottom of Crot can sometimes be hard pack, and have death biscuits so be wary. The chavannes area is nice and easy, but the back of Mont Chery is worth a visit when the snow is good. If you want a laugh go to Torgon and fall off the T-bars between there and la chapelle and theres a sweet litlle park there too. TBH theres not a great deal for boarders in Champoussin. St Jean station has some nice bits in the trees, and the Roc of Hell circuit is now better on a board as the road on the end can be avoided with the new lift.
