Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

What on earth are SCGB doing to earn their keep? Here we are at a pretty bad start to the season, people are looking for snow news, good or bad and what do we find at 10.45pm on Friday 26 December, a snow overview dated Monday 22 December.

OK I'm not a member of SCGB and therefore have no grounds for complaint but their members appear to be very badly served.

Howdy folks, first post so thought it may as well be something I know about. Yes, you're completely right, I am a member and got completely frustrated with the awful reports and unreliable weather updates (which just use snow-forecast.com anyway but update it about 2 hours late). I only joined to get the discount on Eurostar but as with all annual Direct Debits, it's easy to forget about them until it's too late. I do manage to make my membership fee up in discounts most years I think (Snow & Rock, Cotswolds etc).

The weather update section of this forum has been completely ace, so thanks for that. Off to Morzine next Saturday so I've gone from a state of depression to full on excitement in the space of a few days.

Leaders are not giving reports until 27th since Xmas Eve so presume office is closed? Talking with the leader in Zermatt last week, report she filled out did not correspond to email report received.

I only use the actual leader / ambassador report that they write as a 1 word summary is pretty much pointless!
