Just seen it on Epic ski and then the Tremblant web site.
Place is owned by Intrawest apparently.
Anyone heading for Tremblant this year ?

A real shame, Tremblant's got a lot going for it. If you live near Heathrow the journey's no harder than getting to the French Alps. It has a good variety of skiing, is totally geared to the holidaymaker (which is darn convenient if not authentic), standards of service and ski school are brilliant, and it's ideal for kids.
The strike's about pay, though it emotionally seems to have a lot to do with Intrawest's perceived mismanagement of Tremblant over a number of years (build & sell apartments whilst doing the minimum necessary on the ski side). There's an offer on the table which may end things, otherwise there's likely to be repeated disruption all season.
If anyone's going this year, you should check out http://kokotele.proboards18.com/index.cgi?board=general for the latest.

Two weeks down the line and the strike at Mont Tremblant continues, with no sign of a resolution.

I'm very glad I am not going there (it was one of our considerations). It would also discourage me from Intrawest as a whole..... unless I heard the exact reason and resolution in Tremblant, id be too scared to risk trying Whistler! The fact that this continues would do nothing to help those fears about Intrawest!

With the strike now more than two weeks old, there's a development. The 1500 striking employees are due to hold a vote on a proposed resolution to the dispute.

... and the vote was 77.5% in favour of accepting the recommendations of a government conciliator. Mont Tremblant is now expected to speedily resume normal operations.
