Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I've used Didier Bobeau a few times in the past (although last time was 2011 ish) and he was great. Decent knowledge of the Chamonix valley and surrounding area.

his English was v good from what I remember. He's definitely led "all English" ski/guiding groups before.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

if that fails then I've also used Yves Aucreux before, 0033(0) 680958457, he was also v good. Don't have his email but his wife's is chloe@chamonix.com (don't ask why I have that...think he told me she can arrange accommodation/hotels or something similar). So she could probably give you his email address if you mail her. Again it was a while ago, 2010 ish so not 100% if the contact details still valid.
Remember Didier being more of a character though and very fun day out guiding so would try him first.

Tim Blakemore, Scottish guy, is also very good. I had two days with him last year, and would use him again in a heartbeat. One of my friends was with me for one of the days, and said it was her best day on snow ever snowHead

If not yet sorted you could try Powderama. I did an off piste course with him 2013. www.powderama.com @powderama on Twitter

@Pete Reed, I think they are just an instructor outfit, not mountain guides.
