Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just been there with my lad (Hemel). We got a free session from The Ski Show. What a wonderful place it is! So much better than the old dry slope at Aldershot we usually go to. It's such a shame it's so far away and so expensive.

It's just so smart and well run, it could almost be somewhere you'd expect to find in Switzerland or Austria. Loved the stonework/ wood in the upstairs lounge. Only negative is that the coffee was pretty bad. All in all, a nice pre- ski bit of fun Smile

Yeah I went for a trip up a few weeks back (made a bit of a weekend of it). But of a trek for me so not something I plan to do too often, but was pleasantly surprised. Only downsides for me were that the run isn't longer (although I appreciate the limitations) and that the snow is quite slushy, so you end up working pretty hard. Far better than a dry slope though and don't mind paying 40 for the day, I certainly enjoyed myself more than if I was spending 10 quid at the cinema. Wish we had something similar in te South west though, it's a pain when the nearest one is 4 hours away.

It's not been slushy on my visits, more of a sugary consistency (not melting or wet). It's better value if you go during September - November, you can get a whole month pass for around £60-70
