Plus there is a fair bit of snow in the forecast this week and low temperatures so snowmaking can get going.

@1969jma, bergfex.com has a snow page click on the column titles (valley, mountain, new, lifts) to order the list by that column and other countries are clickable on the right hand side.

Halfway through a 4-day at Obergurgl. Only 2or3 runs not open..... And you can see that loads of people have been jumping the ropes to ski those pistes. Snow conditions are great on all open runs.

But the majority of french resorts are not scheduled to be open on 14 December however much snow there was.

Pistes in Obertauern 75% open and in decent nick. Red circuit open but not the blue. Quieter than I would have imagined.

I go to Les Gets, this friday. Im worried, as I want my little to ski in the ESF ski school which is right at the bottom, im sure up the top the snow will be fine.
