and just heard from a friend at lunchtime that there is some kind of baggage handling problem in Italy which postponed a trip to the Dolomites today - instead of flying today from Gatwick they have to fly tomorrow from Heathrow (for their hillwalking holiday  ).

Sky News went apeshit about all the planes stacked/circulating above Heathrow. If they had bothered to increase the resolution of Flightradar they were showing they would have seen that all the so-called stacked/circulating planes were in fact on the ground! What a load of nobs.
