Insane. We've been really suffering in Central Hokkaido. If the resort can open, should be a pretty special opening weekend in Xao!

6 pair lifts + the cable cars will operate tomorrow.....apologies from the lift company about not being able to get the quads moving. with a bit of hiking there should be some good powder cruising.

Today would have been excellent for people doing a season.....great snow and few guests! Talked to some of the lifties....they hope to have most lifts running by this weekend. Lift tickets are 3,000yen until Dec 20th when they go up to 5,000yen.
