Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

help - name of mountain / offpiste route from Albona (St Anton)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Trying to remember where I was for the October calendar pic - skied down and to the left from Albona 2, then climbed back towards the left, leaving the Verwall valley behind, and skied down towards Stuben (or possibly Alpe Rauz, can't remember).

Something starting with G?

@horizon, I'm starting to get that. It's an age thing.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@horizon, bit random, a map or photo would help. Did you drop off to the left and then traverse around the lake, then a short climb and round onto a large slab, then drop down towards the pylons and rolling terrain down to Alpe Rauz and you can see St Christoph on your right across the valley as you drop down through the rollers and eventually rocks down to Rauz? If so that's Wirt. Think it's this route Cedric?

If you went off the back of Albona 2 and kept to the right rather than going around the lake you drop down to the back bowl lift and may have gone down below the lift and joined Maroital and eventually down to Verwall? That doesn't bring you into Rauz/ Stuben though.

Just thought - do you mean Geisleger, this comes down further right as you go up Albona 2 and drops down to Stuben.
