Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Salomon STH10 or Marker Squire 11 Bindings?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

Im looking to get a new pair of bindings for my skis and have managed to find the Salomon STH10 and the Marker Squire 11 bindings at a reasonable price.. Which bindings do you think are better? The only problem with the Squire's is that they have 90mm brakes and my skis have a waist of 92mm.. Although, I have heard cases where bindings have been bent between 5-10 mm so would this be ok?

All the best

Ive a pair of the squires which Im very happy with, they make a slightly odd clunk when you click in, but perfectly secure, just not what you might be used to. Easy to get in and out of.
Wouldn't think the 2mm would matter, but others would be more experience to confirm.

Anyone have any opinions on the STH10?

@EuanFraser, I have Squires -- v happy with them. I swapped some STH12s for the Squires so I can use touring boots. So +1 for the Squires if that's what you want. If you are happy with a normal alpine sole them the Sollys/Squires will have nothing to split them.
