Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Not sure you can really review them without having used them properly...

FWIW I won a set of Dragon goggles and sold them as they weren't as good as my Smiths; style over substance. YMMV.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

There's a ton of these from the same (new) poster in different forums.

I don't want to drive click traffic to check, but presumably it's spam of some description.

You can't review stuff you've not used... well you can, it's called "advertising".

@philwig, just seems like some over-excited 18 year old who hasn't got much else to do than get excited about their new bag and mitts in advance of their adventure. Which is fair enough Happy Not really commercial advertising, just a slightly tedious list of all the new kit he's purchased before going on his season! If it is meant to be advertising, its rubbish.

Still, wish I hadn't clicked thru. Waste of 5 mins.

Hi Guys,

Just so you're all aware, I'm not 18 but I am excited about my new kit. I wanted to create a bit of buzz around my blog prior to departure. I have used some of the kit but only locally in indoor slopes so not exactly true conditions.

I am not earning ANY money from what I'm posting nor do I have any ulterior motives for what I am doing. I genuinely want peoples feedback on how I'm writing and what peoples experiences with the products were.

thank you for your kind words.

@henryhole, maybe post some more of your writing directly onto here, then if people like it they can then click through. Generally nice to give first before taking traffic away wink

Thanks for the advice @clarky999 I just wanted advice from Snowheads on what people want to hear about? At the end of the day I'm writing this for family and friends but I also want people who enjoy reading about the mountains to like it to.

I think people very quickly jump to conclusions.

@henryhole, I think most people would be interested in your reviews once you've spent some more time using the kit - it's always better to hear opinions from people who actually spent money than sponsored skiers who get kit for free. Also, everyone likes to hear about skiing powder, so stories and photos from good days out are always cool. Maybe when you know which resort you'll be going to you can post about snow conditions here too: http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/snow_reports.php?
