Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

All-round durable goggles

Hi there, I am looking for a pair of goggles that will be able to take the day-to-day battering of a season. I don't have a huge budget so am looking for one pair that are good quality and hopefully long lasting. Also what colour lens would you recommend that will do a good all-round job, not expecting perfection in a every light! Thinking Oakleys - maybe the Ambush with a Fire Iridium lens http://uk.oakley.com/en/ambush-snow/product/W0OO7017. I have a small/medium face and will be wearing them with a helmet. TIA for any advice!

Another vote for Bolle Modulators, I have both Modulator Citrus Gun (Nova Goggles) and Modulator Vermillion Blue (Gravity Goggles) tint lenses. Both are great in flat light conditions (the Vermillion possibly edging it for me) but the citrus gun is better in full sun, not surprising as it is listed as a Cat 1-3 as opposed the Cat 1-2 for the vermillion blue lens. I have noticed that Bolle are listing some goggles with Modulator Light Control. Not sure if this is a new lens or not.

Thank you so much for all the replies, I went to try them out in a shop yesterday and have bought the Bolle Modulators Citrus Gun with the monarch frame because I have quite a small face. Really good fit and the shop also highly recommended them so fingers crossed!

Mrs MP picked up some Modulators in VT last April, with variable conditions they coped with both flat light and bright sunshine as we went in and out of cloud etc, she has a small face and they worked for her.
