I have a pair of Adidas Yodai which orange lenses they have a few minor scratches (that annoy me) and I can t find a replacement lense for flat light. Is there a good way to get these scratches buffed out? I heard of using toothpaste but that seems ridiculous, if it worked someone would have bought some tesco's own toothpaste and labeled it google cleaner and sold for a fiver right?

We have used this type of stuff successfully on plastic car headlamps (not this particular one but I cannot find the one we used), it seems to be a sort of very, very fine version of t-cut, maybe it works on goggle plastic but they could be softer. Maybe toothpaste does work though

If you want something which is less abrasive than toothpaste, smooth peanut butter does the job but with more rounded particles. And it is cheaper than toothpaste if you get the cheap stuff.
But if there is a coating on the lens as Jon suggests above you are going to knacker it polishing with anything abrasive at all. The only way round that is to apply a new anti-fog coating, these are available from dive shops but are of fairly limited benefit frankly.
Of course, if they are otherwise scrap you may as well give it a go. Start with peanut butter, if that doesn't polish them out try toothpaste, if that doesn't work try Brasso. If Brasso doesn't work you are not going to get that scratch out.
You can also buy specialist polishing kits from ebay etc designed for acrylic camera lenses. That might be a sensible way to get the best possible finish, but lacks the homemade touch that will give you a sense of pride in knowing you have somehow cheated the system - using a product for something it was designed for to get the outcome it advertises is a recipe for destroyed self esteem if it doesn't actually work as well as the TV advert said it would.

I would just get a replacement lens, having had scratched lens in a goggle on a bright sunny day and ended up with a very sore eye, apparently it works like a pinhole camera and the strong light gets concentrated into your eye without you noticing.
Why spoil the holiday ?
