Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Got a down jacket for oski in the TK Maxx in Birmingham yesterday. Seemed a tad expensive at £60 but the label did say it was 80% down.

Having googled for the brand "Michael Kors" today I am staggered at the official price.

@glasgowcyclops, I missed the post on the other page. I might buy a pair then. That said I pulled the trigger in a pair of Haglofs off sportpursuit last night. Can't hurt to have two decent pairs can it!?

Distance selling rules. You have a cooling off period.

Mind you... I have Norrona Lofoten but still bought them.

Weirdly, I was in a shop today and they sell Mountain Force. I mentioned the brand and the assistant said... Oh yes I would love them but I can't afford them just now. Of all the kit in the shop it was MF that he wanted.

When I said about the TKMAxx deal he said WHAT!!!!!!!!! I'm off to buy a pair.

I suppose that is a good endorsement.

I have just popped into TK Maxx in Edinburgh on the off chance of them still having some ski gear in stock (they don't have much) and I picked up a Fischer Dalvik jacket for £ 47.

OK it's XXL (I am usually XL bit it fits fine) and white/orange so not to everyone's taste, but, come on £ 47 for a £ 300 jacket. Bargain. Very Happy

3 buffs for £5.99 in the City (of London) branch on Gracechurch street.

OK they're not actually "Buff" TM originals and are sold for bikers to keep their necks warm but they would do the job skiing.
