When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Oh goody, that other paragon of restraint and virtue FIFA has got involved -

Umberto Gandini, the second lieutenant to the European Club Association has said that "The Games haven't been awarded yet so why should we worry [about conflicting dates] - they can move their dates too. Reigning kick-ball monarch AND IoC member Sepp Blatter has suggested that a switch to the winter months for the World Cup is 'almost inevitable'. Although should the conflict ramp up some have questioned whether Soccer could lose its place as an Olympic event.

Good job it's all about the sport and not all politics and money eh?
