Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

ansta1, I bought my hubby a pair of those from another snowHead after he'd managted to wrap one of another pair of ordinary Leki poles around a tree in March.

I love mine (and Mrs Ansta1's) because it means I get her to carry my booze around without having to acutally make her. We usually have Port in one pole and Brandy in the other, the biggest problem is the temptation to have a little snifter on the lifts and they are a really sad crowd pleaser when sat in the hotel bar apres.

I honestly could have sold both pairs in January for almost double what I paid for them they attracted that much attention, I got our original ones (the Leki ones but without the trigger grip) about 8 or 9 years ago for about £35 a pair and they were selling the new models as in edge and wax in the shops in Courchevel 1850 for about 170euros IIRC

Hmm got me thinking, load up a ski bag with poles and sell them to uber rich in resort. My business model is expanding if not exactly perfect..

I had always been a fan until we went to the shop for the first time at the weekend Confused

Great selection of Hestra gloves though.

NOT socks. Apart from the fact that they're boring, it sounds as though the recipient will already have plenty, and might have very clear ideas about what sort he likes, too.

We love you too Swissie! x

The poles are awesome, I have some. Even come with the little funnel to put the drink in, and you get two shots, one from each pole!

Looks fun on the mountain, and is always the envy of your ski buddies, as its a very unique gift for that skier who has everything. Which is why the wife bought them for me!

PS: We do have a gift finder on our website too: http://images.edgeandwax.co.uk/gift-selector/default.aspx I am just rebuilding it but should be live shortly. Only created it as people kept asking ME what I wanted for Christmas, as a skier who owns everything Very Happy

Hi there, do feel free to PM me if you had any issues while you were visiting, we were in the absolute throws of a shop fit, and still are, I don't think I actually went home Friday night! And we had two new starters, but no excuse, if something wasn't to your liking do let me know so I can do something about it.

The good news is the staff have been in training this week, the new skier's lounge is finished (at last!) and the back country room will be complete tomorrow. Hopefully!

Thanks

PS - And we now have a whole wall of Hestra rather than the 1/3 last Saturday. It is coming in thick and fast!

I shall be getting my daughter a private lesson with a charming Frenchman - with whom she has skied before, and much enjoyed it. Having had two kids since then, she needs a confidence boost and I can't think of anything better than a couple of hours with Stéphane. snowHead
