Snow Reports

Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

WANTED: Anywhere Snowboarding Departing Sunday Feb 1st for a couple
All-in or self catering, anywhere.
Budget = cheaper is better but prepared to pay more to get the exact departure date.
Ability = 1 beginner, 1 good
Snow = reliable or with something else to do if it's slush
Flying from London Gatwick or Heathrow. Or Southampton.
Some nightlife.
Ski in/out preferred
Urgent: needs to be booked within the next week or so.
Can anyone recommend somewhere?
It's for Stepson and daughter in law as their Christmas present and that is the only week they can get off at the same time this winter.
Thank you.

What are you after, specific reccomendations?
If you want a tour op, then Inghams do Sunday arrivals & departures and seem perfectly fine from what I've seen of them. If they want to make their own way, I can't imagine there being any difficulty booking flights and airport transfers for Sunday - Sunday for any ski airports.
I think you hit a bit of French half term that week, but it doesn't strike me as a hugely busy time in resort, so you should pretty much have the choice of anywhere in the world. For a couple of favourites off the top of my head, try Village Montana in Tignes, Bergland in Soelden or for something a bit more cosy, Lac Bleu or Altiport in Meribel. Bergland not amazingly ski in / ski out.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
