Hello, new to the forum, I think i have done the button thing correctly.

@pigeondave, Your name is at the top of the thread so you are as totally committed as it's possible to be without the actual 'sign up' buttons! I'm sure @admin, will be providing those soon.
If you look through the posts you can see that several of us have already booked our flights and tried to coordinate them as much as possible to facilitate transfers.

I have sorted the flights on Saturday. Im on the 7.25 out of Gatwick, same as a few others on here i think.

Not sure if they still do it but they used to have skidoo rides on the frozen lake at the end of town, well worth the money.
They also used to run trips to St Moritz and the Cresta run, again well worth a visit.

Even if we fill the main hotel, we can get extra rooms just 2 or 3 mins walk away and, like the Birthday bash, because both places are owned by the same people, we still all eat together and get to leave skis + boots at the piste-side one.

I've only been skiing twice and havent been for 4 years so I'm at a similar level! I was hoping to do the same in the afternoons so that sounds good to me!

No, afair there's very little that doesn't return directly to the to some part of the village. (The town is 5km long)

There's complete beginers (1 at least). A little general fitness and a willingness to learn (and laugh at yourself) is all thats required; Over 50 shouldn't be of relevance. If you don't try it you'll never know and you're unlikely to find as good a deal. Make the call and get signed up quick; Payment buttons must be imminent!

At present I'm going weekly to Xscape in Yorkshire for coaching; I am not much beyond complete beginner. Unfortunately I have some work I must finish first, I'll see what I can do... Thanks for the encouragement!

@youngsue, I went on my first ski trip as a beginner at the age of 58! My brother, who will also be on this trip, started skiing last season aged 50. Just go for it!

Sorry the buttons were so late and thank you everyone for being so impressively patient

We have 18 places reserved in the main hotel (basically all of it).
There are 2 double/twin rooms, 3 triples and a quad - so if it matters to you what kind of room you're in, I'd get in there.
As I said above, there is also an option to use a place a few minutes walk away for extra beds if we need. Everyone can still eat together and leave their skis etc piste-side at the main hotel.
