Just back from a camper/walking tour of the Cairngorms:
It certainly wasn't warm - in fact it was distinctly chilly on the summit of Ben Chonzie - but we never saw any snow. There was lots of rain in Grantown-on-Spey but we dived into the museum where Adam Walker-Parker and his wife were putting up a good display of very reasonably priced paintings.

Ricklovesthepowder, not really, we frequently have snow in our garden in Chamonix in June or. July. Not really a harbinger of frost.
