Poster: A snowHead

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows where you can buy cheap rental-type ski poles?
I don't really want to justify spending £25+ on a pair of poles for the park that I know will end up broken at some point during the season.
Or would there be cheap poles for sale in resort? (I'm going to Queenstown, NZ).
Alternatively, is anyone selling a pair of 115cm ski poles for cheap??
Thanks,
Lewis.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Glisshop have some very cheap poles - just bought two pairs (one for my tall son in law) along with a pair of skis. I think the poles were £11 and £13. One was Atomic, the other Salomon. My old poles are at least 40 years old.

I went into a rental place in resort and offered €10 for a hire pair which was in good condition.
