Poster: A snowHead

When I was younger we used to wear thermal longjohns, racing trousers and overtrousers. Nowadays wearing just longjohns and salopettes, I feel I am lacking a layer and I dislike wearing 2 pairs of longjohns as they always feel like your knickers are falling down. Does any one still make those warm overtrousers with full-length zips so you can get them on/off with your boots on?

Gordyjh,
Some salopettes come with full-length zips.
I'd have thought with modern salopettes though, 2 layers is ample?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Gordyjh, my Ski trousers from Columbia have full length leg zips similar to their current fresh pow pant

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks for the help. I forgot to mention that one useful thing about the old overtrousers was that they came with a small bumbag which you could roll them up into to carry with you when skiing. My main problem is that I particularly feel the cold on my back bottom and thighs on lifts so if anyone could perhaps suggest a.n.other solution I would look at it with interest and gratitude!

Gordyjh, We have had a long thread somewhere on the merits of the word a r s e . There is a profanity filter that changes certain rude words. I love the word a r s e, but one has to draw the line somewhere
