I bought some K2 Waybacks from the online store a couple of weeks ago, delivered in a couple of days - but I only live 25km away (although the skis went via Lyon). It was free delivery.
The store in Frontenex (which is excellent and I've used quite a bit) and the mail order set-up are separate although obviously part of the same business. Mail order is handled in Montmelian where they have a big warehouse but the actual website and after sales is outsourced to a firm that handles transnational telesales. This, I believe has caused 1 or 2 problems.

Ordered my trousers from them. With their discount and Euro to GBP exchange rate they were about half price. Easy to order, got emails with updates on order status and item delivered to me in the UK in approximately 1 week. Excellent service, but if you're worried just pay on credit card for protection.

I got a jacket from them in January. Very reasonable prices and delivery to UK is tracked so you can follow it as it motors up the autoroutes to the UK. When I initially phoned them to check the order as I was in a rush to get it the initial confusion was down to me ordering on their .fr website for a delivery to the uk, they told me I should have ordered on the .co.uk website (silly me!). This really didn't matter in the final event as the jacket turned up within the week anyway.
I'd order from them again and have no problem in recommending them. The telephone staff were polite and helpful and the online ordering was easy and as said, the delivery was good too.
(I don't have anything to do with ekosport btw, just a satisfied customer)
