As I confessed in my earlier thread (http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=107935&highlight=&sid=943d10eb02f4af1cebfc559012ad0a3e), I only started watching alpine ski races on TV this year, although I've been skiing all my life.
One thing that I also realized about ski racing is that some of the top female ski racers are really hot! On the podium of this year's overall were Anna Fenninger and and Lara Gut. I don't remember having seen the very top athletes of any other sport this hot! Just wow. I'm definitely going to watch the World Cup races next year on TV.
