Just been on the dry ski slope this morning, trying out the brace the Physio recommended and seeing if I can ski OK. After the first few nervous runs it started to come back nicely and my knee felt stable and strong. For those that don't know this is the first time I have tried to ski after wrecking my knee in the summer which left me non-weight bearing for a couple of months until I was able to get the surgery I needed. I have been working hard at the rehab and we go on holiday in April. This was the test to see if the brace is good enough and I am now confident it is.

Thanks all. Turned into an expensive trip and just had a boot fitting with Rob there and have come way with new boots. M old pair were definitely too big for me but seeing as I bought them 13yrs ago they haven't done me badly.

NickyJ, fantastic effort. Top man/woman for sticking at rehab. When I did my achilles I couldn't stand the rehab and it took a long, long while to get better....Have a great time in LDA. Make sure you post a TR.....

It was even better on the real stuff. No pain (from my knees / legs) at all. Shockingly unfit so as soon as my legs were getting too tired I called it a day. I don't want to destroy what is left of my knee by pushing too hard.
