Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bindings Too Big....advice please

Hi All
I've just got some bargain Head Magnums. Theyre fitted with theses Freeflex Pro 11 bindings

Problem is theyre appx 2cm too big for my boots, Ive slid the rear adjuster forwards, but it seems the front might need adjusting back to keep the boot centred (I can't see any centre mark on the skis?)
Is it possible to adjust the toe binding back, it looks like its on a rail with I presume EU foot sizes marked on it.
I'm taking them into Snow&Rock tomorrow, but haven't been able to find any relevant info online.
I'd just like to be informed first.
Theyre mounted on a plate as you can see in pics

Yes they're quite straightforward to adjust or get adjusted but the bindings need to be removed from the rail/plate first.

Google 'freeflex pro 11 binding manual' and a PDF tyrolia manual is on the first page of hits.

But aren't the green bindings going to clash with you other outfits?

No rails with Freeflex or Magnums AFAIK and they look like there's no plate either. IMV, it'll be a remount job.

The plate is pre-drilled for various sole lengths, just undo the middle screw take off toe and heel and screw back on in shorter position and check/adjust forward pressure.

Be careful when you move shorten the bindings, the middle screw on the band that connects the front and rear can be troublesome to put in right and easy to strip the thin metal connection band.

Also IMPORTANT is that when you screw in the bindings into the plate do not overtighten, the plate on that year of Magnum is shite and it is really easy to strip and pull out the plastic plate..
