Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Jacket & Trousers for Tall/Skinny Teen

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Our 14year old has grown AGAIN, and we unfortunately will have to replace his ski jacket & trousers before our April trip. Can anybody suggest if any brands are better for very slim and tall men. His Dad is the same height but the weight difference means none of his gear is of any use.

He is 6ft1 (185cm) and 9st 4lbs (59kg)

We have no ski wear shops locally so it will have to be internet orders and I would like to try and avoid too many returns.

North face do a longer leg option in black ski trousers. I think columbia do also.

muppet, we've got a 6ft 4 and not much heavier 24 year old. He's always had Columbia ones.

alex99, Hells Bells, Thanks I will look at North Face and Columbia. I'm sure we always got him Columbia kit when he was much younger (cheap in the outlets in the states)

muppet, FWIW I sympathise. I've got two tall skinny ones, I've just kitted my youngest son (12) out in Dare-2-B and got a good fit, they might be worth a look, but be careful with the picking. If you can find one of their good thick jackets they are certainly good enough for a year or so until they grow again, but some of their gear is not quite as thick and warm in my opinion. N.B. It's much cheaper to stop feeding them. wink

Megamum, I hope he's not going to grow too much again rolling eyes

I've tried not feeding him but a warm and damp winter has helped the growing process Smile
