Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi just a quickie, off a run down to St Christoph, run 8 I think there is a bit of a climb back up to get the lift, St Christoph lift I think, is there a way to avoid the uphill climb when coming down the run

Maybe by going off piste to the right of number 8 behind the buildings? Don't go too far across and end up on the cross country track... they don't like that Happy

It's not really a climb anyway, it's about 10 steps of side stepping.

yeah go right next to the bar and push across... less climbing

but its the Arlberg you have to climb to pretty much half of the lifts! Might be better to lie to yourself and pretend you're doing it for the fitness! that way you can justify the Tirolergröstl and 5 beers after climbing it 5 times Very Happy

I wouldn't say its a climb, you cross the road and have about 7 or 8 ft to "climb" a few seconds of side stepping and thats it, didn't really see an alternative to the "climb"

Take the piste to the right before you get to the Hospiz, goes towards and in front of the Taja, behind the Hospiz and the Mainensee before dropping down to the lift almost underneath the bottom of it, avoiding the short side step over the road and up.
