Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

hahah no, I wont be feeling adventurous, I have to really push myself to go on a red run lol. So which one would be the best to go for? The one you linked to or the one I linked to? Pizzas and burgers is really all we need, when we went to Les Saisies we ate out once at a restaurant and bought burger and chips and we got take out pizza a few times. Thanks for your help x

polo99, either of those would be OK - not a big difference, though the accommodation up in Les Fermes is probably nicer, more up to date. The Refuge restaurant up near Les Fermes du Beaufortain does a superb burger and the place down the bottom (called the Coeur du Beaufortain) is a bit of a specialist in Pizzas - but they both do other stuff do including a lovely confit of duck up at the Refuge.

It's about a ten minute walk down - or up - the hill between those two apartments and the two restaurants. It is VERY quiet in Bisanne 1500 - which is why I like it - but be warned that "night life" is non-existent.

Happy to help - I am making curtains this afternoon, a fairly boring occupation, so thinking about ski accommodation is a nice diversion.

We arent really bothered about night life. Happy to stay in of an evening, usually too knackered to do anything anyway, problaby going out to grab a take away pizza will be too much hassle lol. I think either of those sound the best option. I am supposed to be baking cakes to sell tomorrow but its too cold to do anything. Cant really do that in front of the fire Smile Can't believe its only 2 weeks away!

Pam I have been looking at places in Les Saisies and it has come up with a Balambra group apartment called Les Embrumes in Les Saisies. Can you tell me where this is please as it is hard to tell from the site. thanks x

polo99, that's out on the road round from LS to Bisanne 1500 - a bit out on a limb road-wise, though should be convenient for skiing. Not a great deal else in that vicinity. I've never been in there. From their website it looks like there is a restaurant in-house but you'd need a vehicle to get anywhere else, i think.

thanks for your quick reply Pam. I am still waiting to hear from the other one that you sent the link for. I think that would be the best bet
