Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello fellow snowheads
We are in Samoens for the w/c 16 March and would be grateful for any recommendations on ski school / particular instructors for my 10 year old daughter. She is quite capable up to red and even easy black but I was thinking of a couple of private 2 hour sessions during the week to advance her technique and confidence.

We stayed in Morillon a few years back and used Zig Zag who I think are based in Samoens too. They were very good

Second vote for ZigZag - they took a beginner snowboarder in our group who'd been turned into a gibbering basketcase by ze ESF and turned him back into a snowboarder.

Zig Zag are top notch.. ESF are pretty good for private lessons as well. Much criticism of them stems from group classes.

Have used ecoleski360 in les gets for the last 2 years, excellent company. They have a ski school in samoens too I understand.

ZigZag are tops. Both our kids have been taken their classes over three seasons and we have no complaints. Kids happy and progressing well through ESI programme.
