Poster: A snowHead

Hello there, my sister and I have booked a long weekend in courmayeur, having wanted to ski there for years, we finally get our chance. We have booked our flights direct with BA and our hotel too, so we arrive Sunday 9 march 2014 but we need to somehow get up the mountain ready to have lunch and ski Sunday afternoon! Can anyone recommend the most direct and cheapest option? We don't want to hire a car so ideally looking for anyone wishing to share a taxi, give us a lift (!) or is there a direct train or bus? Thanks Stephanie

Hi Stephanie
How are you?
I've just booked with my business partner to head towards chamonix area gore three days from 12th March. We both work long hours and dont have much of a life outside of work. We'd love to meet a couple of ladies to take for dinners, skiing, cocktails and some great company. We fly back to London on Saturday 15th.
Would you be interested to meet up

StephanieG, for a short time a hired car would probably be best, to save a lot of wasted time (or bothersome invitations to dinner).

StephanieG, We do Geneva to Pila (just down the valley) and use a hire car as it is easier and no more expensive. I don't think there is a cheap way. We have done buses to Morzine before and that cost loads so not surprised at the £350. There is a large portion of cost to get through the tunnel as a bus is doing 2 return trips. If you do it again and can get to Turin that would be a better option obviously no good for this trip.
