I thought I would post a topic you might all be interested in:
I am attempting to set a new skiing Guinness World Record: to ski in as many different countries in a calendar month as possible.
The current record is 15 and I am aiming to ski in 20 different countries in the month of March.

Hi guys, yes passes are quite expensive, especially when I am only skiing for max 1 hour in the resort! Some of the resorts are offering a discounted pass.
The total cost is going to cost about £5,000. I have lots of sponsors which are helping with costs, but I think it will still cost me over £3,000.
But it will be a great experience!

Can't you easily add England to that list? If you're only counting natural snow/outdoors then Raise isn't that far off your route, alternatively there're plenty of dry slope/snowdomes.
