anyone who would pay £120 for a pair of XC gloves would have to be loopy. Plenty of perfectly good ones in Decathlon etc for a great deal less. I think mine were about 10% of that price....

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Would they work as spring ski gloves?

pam w, None in UK Decathlon, but agreed, haven't paid close to that list price for any of my ski gloves (Hestra Ski X, Seth Morrison 3 fingers and Short Armys)

Gloves are here, and very nice. Claude B, it depends how light a glove you want, they are unlined single thickness leather over most of palm side but grippy reinforcement where the pole will be and a single thickness windstopper back, think more like a pair of driving gloves than ski gloves, though guess that is what you want for XC once you get to the stage tou can put some effort in.
How they were ever worth £120 I don't know but a very nice pair of gloves for the money M and M direct wanted for them.

Claude B,
I use cycling gloves for spring skiing. Much cheaper than £19.59 at TK Maxx.

Cheers both, I've actually got a pair of cycling gloves that I use when it's not too cold. They're not waterproof though. I don't fancy having wet hands all day. I did look at gloves in Tacky's today. they didn't really have anything. We'll see.
