Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any ideas for transfers from Milan Linate to Champoluc?

Y'all, the collective is renting out its apartment in Champoluc this season and guests have asked for a recommendation on transfers. Any experiences/recommendations out there?

Ta.

I did that and hired a car. Easy drive and under 2 hrs. Sorry - can't help on transfer companies. You could try http://www.ski-2.com based in Champoluc and see who they recommend.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

MIchaeal, thanks for replying - we are renting our apartment out and know very well the roads to Champoluc - but none of us have ever had to get a transfer there. Anyway the question was on behalf of clients as there are so few TOs (other than Ski2) it's not really on the "transfer map". I think Ski2 probably organise themselves as they definitely have a couple of minibuses but a good shout to check their website at least.

Turin is closer isn't it? I use a taxi to Gressoney (in the next valley) for our group.

snowball, I guess LIN is better for them - anyway, it's definitely better as that's where they're arriving. Turin is closer but it would seem silly for them to get a taxi to Turin to get a taxi to Champoluc Puzzled

I can recommend the http://kiwitaxi.com/Italy/Milan service for travelling by plane. It is a taxi transfer booking service which will be really handy for you in every point of the world. Taxes there are much more affordable than those cabs at the airport. I hope that my little tip here will be useful Wink

@Frix, bvgger, you could have contributed sooner, the clients have been living rough around Linate for two years now! I probably can't even contact them as their phone batteries will surely have expired rolling eyes
