Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Creche Facilities in La Rosiere

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

We are off to La Rosiere again in April. Can anyone recommend any creche facilities that will be suitable for a 9 month old please. Ideally in the Les Eucherts region as that's where the other kids with us will be having lessons...... I guess English speaking would be the best option for us as well.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks all...

Paul.

pjbruen, welcome to snowHeads.

9 months - I'm not sure, but that does sound quite young for some creche set-ups. The ESF creche in Les Eucherts, for example, I believe only takes children from 18 months. Perhaps others may know better. Or maybe they (ESF) make exceptions by arrangement.

It sounds as though you are booked/committed - were you not, I would probably have suggested Ski Esprit - they may well take in younger children/babies IIRC.

Good luck - there are plenty of LA Ros experts here who I am sure will have deeper knowledge.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks Cacciatore. I've seen the ESF site and we would have gone with Esprit (as we did last year), but just on a tighter budget this year.

We used the ESF crèche in Les Eucharts in 2009 for a 3 yr old. It was very good. New purpose built buildings. Kind staff. I'm not sure of the age of the youngest children so you would have to contact the ESF to check the lower age limit.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Has anyone tried Garde Enfants - this is the only one I've come across? http://winter.larosiere.net/winter-child-care.html

Not sure what tour op you are with but you could always try Esprit or Snow Crazy and see if they might have a spare nanny???

Don't think Esprit allow non-guests in their nursery/creche as it cannibalises their own product. Good luck with your hunt and enjoy La Ros.

Mike-H, yeah, agreed....

We have one option that we are looking into though - just wondered if there was a bit more competition.

We've been to La Ros 3 times already and always had a great holiday....so should be good.
