Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Val Thorens from Geneva and Grenoble

Good Day! Could you please advise as to the best transportation options between Geneva airport and Val Thorens as well as between Grenoble and Val Thorens? Thank you so much for your help Smile. I know there are supposed to be buses and shuttles, but wasn't sure if one company was preferable to others... Has anybody tried a particular bus/shuttle and could recommend it?

Thank you!

We always take Ben's Bus - which are frequent, reliable and good value if there's only a few of you IMO.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Ben's Bus is only weekends and is the only game in town for Grenoble - the 7 day a week service from GVA is via www.altibus.com - just as reliable, if a little more expensive. Just depends on the timings. If there are more than 4 of you consider a private transfer - not sure of the local operators in VT, but coolbus.co.uk based in Bourg will help.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

How many in the party?

If it's more than one then hire a car. It's probably cheaper and certainly more convenient.

We all ways use 3 valleys transfers www.3vt.co.uk but we do private transfers so cost may be prohibitive if you want cheap.

There are exactly 4 of us, so private transfer may be a bit expensive. Plus I would like to ski our last day there (Saturday) and so will have to try to find something that leaves in the evening vs. morning.

I would suggest to rent a car. Get snow chains with the car rental.

Book a car park space with www.valthoparc.com

I used Bens Bus to get to ValT. They were OK - just what you would expect from a shared coach transfer really!
