Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Insurance

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi - I am looking for family ski insurance for 2 adults and 2 children which includes off piste skiing. Not concerned about baggage loss (we are driving not flying) or the level of excess even if it is say £200-250 (it's the really big expenses that I want to cover such as, crucially, helicopter rescue and medical bills). Would rather not pay the top end price but equally will avoid the cheapest ones i.e. somewhere in the lower middle of the range. Any recommendations (including who NOT to use)?
Cheers

Hi Powder puppy, and welcome to Snowheads.

It sounds to me you Snowcard will be ideal for you. You can choose the explicit level of activity cover you need, and you can exclude baggage loss, cancellation and all that stuff and just pay for the important legal, medical, rescue, etc stuff. I have a family policy with them. I've never made a claim but annecdotely they seem to be very good. I have had discussions with them by phone and email in the past with policy queries and they were very good.
