Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi guys,

Does anyone know about a heated outdoor pool or a hot tub, or a nice hammam in 2 alpes? If in a hotel, can outsiders use the facility?

themothandthestar, There is a heated outdoor pool, free with your lift pass. I've just come back from 3 weeks there but didn't look, I've certainly seen (but not used) it in the past.

Yep as Claude B says there is a public pool which your 6 day lift pass gets you one free entry per day to. Never used it but it seems pretty popular whenever I have walked past it.

I went there a few years ago. Pleasant enough. Best thing in LDA used to be the bumper cars on the ice rink. Don't know if they still run those. They were great fun.

I think the public pool in 2Alps is the one that you get into inside then swim through a plastic barrier into the open air. The hot tub is next to the outside pool and has to be pre-booked. Or at least that was the case a few years back. I seem to remember not being impressed by the changing room cleanliness when we were there but it was otherwise OK.
