Poster: A snowHead

On a powder day which ski station near Geneva has good off piste and is slowest to get tracked out? I've found Les Contamines to be the best bet for getting fresh lines in the afternoon, or even on a Saturday following a big dump mid week. Where else should I be checking out though?
Thanks!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Steve77, Stick with Les C. There is so much lift served non pisted snow that a small army couldn't track it out. It isn't off piste in the traditional sense but it works. No TO's helps.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

It's fine, I won't ski it, I just like to have a view of a pristine mountain when I'm eating lunch, honest

You'll need to Register first of course.

You could try La Clusaz, I suspect Les Contamines is better for your needs, La Clusaz is a bit close to Annecy so will attract plenty of others when conditions are good.

There's actually plenty of "traditional" off piste too if you know where to go (e.g., can ski all the way from the top to the Gorge car park)
