Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Not worth travelling a long way for (see pics here http://www.winterhighland.info/forums/read.php?2,56445) but if you live locally and fancy a tough first day back on your Planks YM is the place !

Stictly not for beginners in these conditions though snowHead

Looks good Peter. If I lived anywhere near I'd be there. Just a pity the Irish Sea gets in the way

We opened again on Sunday with a little bit more snow over night. Again conditions were quite reasonable with 3 runs open and very fast snow. The thin but even cover and frozen ground meant quite technical conditions, even where we'd pisted.

Chris/Jon

Gone milder today with the freezing level above the tops. Carn't see that there will be anything left this weekend, but kepp watching the forecasts, we don't need much. Well not much if you're really keen anyway Razz

We have two websites but it is difficult co ordinating updates between those and the snowline. If at all possible ring the snowline since that is updated by the team that actually operates the tow and will always be the most up to date source of information. If we do get some good conditions however you may find it difficult to get through at times.

If I'm around I'll try to keep things updated here on Snowheads with links to pictures if possible. Hope thats OK with Admin.

Yad Moss is operated by the Carlisle Ski Club but much of the equipment has been subsidised by lottery and Sports Council money. Everyone is welcome unless things ever get really busy in which case we may limit tickets to seasonal members.

The very bumpy terrain and fast Poma are not really suitable for begginers and some snowboarders find the lift particularly difficult.
