Ive done many searches but I figure it's best to join a forum and ask
I'm new to skiing,
I got a set of mtr Fischer race skiis
Who ever had them last had tiny feet
I picked up some Solomon boots
And I have a pack of plugs to fill in the old drill holes
I'm having difficulty removing front binding to move forward
And I'm not sure about rear placement either
I will upload some pictures of my skiis boots and bindings Ina minute
I have all tools needed and skill to work them

Welcome to snowheads.
I can't help with your problem, but I am not sure race skis are going to be ideal to starting point.
Solomon boots are a wise choice. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solomon#Wisdom
Is this a troll / sock puppet post ?
I am sure someone will be along to help in a bit.

Why are you posting if you cannot help ?
Only to tell me I have gotten the wrong skiis
What should have I gotten in your opinion instead?
I think I made a wise choice because they were 10$
In great condition and perfect length for my height 170ccm and I'm 5'11"
I love going fast and edging
I get free lift tickets too
I was able to get the front binding part removed and placed in the right spot for remount
All I need help with is mounting rear part of binding I'll upload pics I took tomorrow
I'm a cheap ass but I'm going to make these sweet skiis work
I'm just looking to make these work so I don't have to pay $$$ every time to rent
When I could make these work and save to buy some all mountain and back country skiis that will work with
The symbio Solomon boots
So far I'm very happy with my investment
10$ skiis 170ccm race base Fischer skiis
10$ poles 46" non adjustable
35$ boots Solomon
I already have all the clothing and other gear involved
Because I also snowboard, I have a cheap snowboard
setup too so maybe you will understand I'm frugal and make things work
30$ brand new ltd board
Free burton bindings from board shop trash
5$ mount discs
5$ bolts
40$ new Solomon boots

I'm finding it hard to tell if this is a troll or not.
The skis are pretty old and, although look new, may still suffer failure, as might the bindings.
Equally, ski boots of that age are getting towards their end of life in terms of the structural integrity of the plastic so they COULD break.
I know you didn't ask opinion on the quality of the kit, but I think it's valid for us to raise these points and would be irresponsible of us not to at least point it out rather than saying nothing and letting you suffer an injury.

I live next to a reputable ski shop and I have been getting advice and help from the owner
Skiis have already been checked out and passed flying colors
The boots are only 1 year old and are not at their end of their life
I live on mount hood I can ski year round (except for maybe a few weeks in August and September
Where else in America can you do that?
I expected help not a bunch of naysaying idiots who jumped at the words beginning skiier
Tell me how I'm supposed to take YOU seriously
I've come across this before people get mad when you don't shell out hundreds of dollars like them to go have fun

Fair enough. I thought the Symbio was made in around 2004/2005. My mistake

Hoodster17, this place has a history of regulars signing up under made up names to ask made-up questions about odd-ball things. Your choice of signup name Hoodster as in 'hoodwinked' didn't help in this regard, but could again have been perfectly innocent. I've checked those boots online and it is possible to buy loads online at that sort of price. However, they aren't modern looking boots and you might get a double take the first time you walk into a bar in them, though I note it is still possible to buy a Symbio 440 brand new - http://www.snowinn.com/ski-store/salomon-symbio-440-black-13-14/81965/p?utm_source=google_products&utm_medium=merchant&id_producte=368476&country=uk&gclid=CJzLk4yziLwCFanjwgodBhkABA so the 550 might not actually be as old as it first appears. Ditto the age issue with the skis you have chosen. I can't easily find a reference to those online so they could well be older.
On balance I'd say you could well be genuine, but hopefully the above explanations indicate why you were viewed with a certain amount of derision. So called 'Trolls' are two a penny around here.

That's scary as the bindings went out of indemnity years ago
